TENNESSEE REGIONAL

BRAILLE CHALLENGE

January 28, 2010

2009 Regional Braille Challenge Application (doc)

The Braille Challenge™ is a two-stage academic contest, sponsored by Braille Institute, designed to motivate school-age braille readers to excel in this vital medium. Teachers of the visually impaired from across the nation and Canada are encouraged to have their students participate.

Students from across the state and nearby states are invited to participate in the fourth regional contest hosted at the Tennessee School for the Blind on January 28, 2010 with a snow date of February 4, 2010.

The contest is divided into five academic levels. All students are encouraged to participate: however, students must be at or near grade level to be eligible for the National Finals in June, held in California.
